7mm Chinese Turquoise (Stabilized*see note below) with 10x7mm Lampworked glass which has a red core with pink roses sealed under clear glass, capped in Bali Silver with Mother of Pearl accents. The 1 1/2" Our Lady of Guadalupe center and 2 1/4" Four Roses crucifix are Sterling Silver hand cast from vintage rosary components, available only as a matched set and only by special order. The 4 roses on the crucifix represent Our Lady's 4 apparitions to St. Juan Diego on the hill of Tepayac outside of Mexico City. The Turquoise represents the color of her mantle, the red glass with pink roses represents her dress and the roses that she made appear for Juan Diego to take to the Bishop, and the unbleached Mother of Pearl represents Juan Diego's cloak of rough hewn fabric upon which Our Lady caused the miraculous image to appear.

*NOTE: Most Turquoise is soft and porous when it is mined. Untreated Turquoise is a fragile stone, with a tendency to develop undesirable color changes when exposed to perspiration, skin oils, light and detergent. It is stabilized with resin, which improves its durability, as well as prevent the absorption of body oils and deterioration from chemicals. The stabilization process hardens chalk Turquoise and adds color, giving it the same appearance as Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Persian Turquoise - which cost about $400 a string - at a fraction of the price. This Turquoise is from the Hubei province in China.

#32. WHITE JADE & LAMPWORKED GLASS ROSARY
8mm creamy White Jade with unusual aqua, yellow and white "bumpy" Lampworked glass, capped in Bali Silver and tiny Mother of Pearl, give this rosary a slightly "funky" look. Set off beautifully by the 2 1/4" Deluxe Streamer Crucifix and 1" Lace Edge Miraculous Medal center.

#33. SILVER PEARL & SILVER FOIL LAMPWORK ROSARY
6x7mm Silver Cultured Pearls, nearly round "potato" shape, glow with a soft irridescence reflecting mauve, teal and champagne. Complimented by 10mm Silver foil lined Lampworked glass beads with hand made glass roses embedded in each side of the bead, capped in Bali Silver and small crystals. The 2 1/4" Deluxe Streamer Crucifix and 3/4" Floral Swag Miraculous Medal center complete the design.
